Why Drama?

 

            Drama is a well  rounded subject that can benefit the student physically, emotionally, artistically, and academically.  There is something in the dramatic arts for everyone!

 

            Young people face enormous pressure to grow up fast in a world in which the creative and restorative powers of the imagination are sometimes forgotten.  Drama at Central can be a safe place for students to express themselves through role playing.  Shyness melts away and confidence is raised in an environment where the voice of the individual is valued.
